Hydromarine JSC performs the annual inspection of all the underwater installations related to the Galata gas field infrastructure. The Galata field is located 23km offshore Varna, Bulgaria in water depths of 35m. The activities performed during the annual inspection include:

– Diving inspection of the Galata platform piles, cathodes, flanges, connections;
– Diving inspection to establish the condition of the connections between the three piles and the jacket, and measurement and cleaning where required of marine deposits on the jacket;
– Inspection of the vertical section of the main gas pipeline to onshore, the platform well conductors and riser clamps, and;
– Thickness measurement of the horizontal and vertical sections of the gas pipelines from the satellite fields, and the two associated risers.
